Sold by the foot this gasket has a V shape with a notch that mates with the aluminum frame. This is the exterior gasket for this frame style. I have occasionally seen windows that were flipped with this gasket inside the window and the small barb gasket outside. I have also seen sunroofs with this arrangement.
